I ran into a problem with my 2023 Pacifica, on the freeway. The engine stalled out, I pulled over, waited, and restarted. it started up fine, the check engine light came on, so I drove it straight to my dealer in Kearny Mesa, San Diego.
They ran a scan and told me it’s the Drive Motor A Position Sensor Circuit, code P0A43. The car’s been sitting there since October 13th, and I’m waiting for a technician to take a closer look.
For anyone who’s dealt with this before:

For anyone who’s dealt with this before:
- How long does it typically take to fix this issue?
- Do dealerships usually cover rental car costs for something like this? (I’ve already been paying $50/day out of pocket, even though I have an extended warranty.)
- Any tips on dealing with the dealership or Chrysler in general to speed things up?
