Earlier this week at the LA Auto Show, Fiat-Chrysler Automotive announced the pricing for the Pacifica Hybrid Minivan.
In the USA, pricing for the base Hybrid model, called the Premium, starts at $41,995. For the high-end Platinum model, pricing starts at $44,995.
Since the Pacifica PHEV has a 16 kWh battery pack, it qualifies for the full $7500 federal tax credit, which essentially brings the overall cost of the plug-in hybrid minivan down to $34,495. At that price, it’s only $5900 more than the lowest trim model gasoline version of the Pacifica, and it has more options!
Chrysler also announced Canadian Pricing, and that will start at $56,495 CAD and after provincial incentives, the cost comes down to $42,494 CAD in Ontario, and $48,250 in BC and Quebec.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacific Plug-in is being built at the Fiat-Chrysler assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario Canada, and production is set to begin November 28th. No word on when first deliveries are expected, but chances are it will be some time in early 2017.
