Exciting news for Chrysler Pacifica Forum!
The only thing that would potentially hold the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica back from success is the reputation of the Chrysler brand in terms of reliability. Apart from that, it’s almost impossible to find fault with the Chrysler Town & Country replacement.

One of the highlights of this new minivan is its hybrid model, which is unfortunately still unavailable in dealerships. Only the regular gas-powered model is around thus far, leaving eager moms and dads waiting patiently in the dark for the fuel-saving variant.

They may not have to wait for much longer, as InsideEVs has recently claimed that dealerships would begin receiving the plug-in hybrid Pacifica by next month, just in time to take advantage of the Christmas shopping season.

Its official pricing been announced, but expect to fork out close to $35,000 for the Pacifica Hybrid before the $7,500 federal tax incentive courtesy of its 16kWh battery worth up to 80MPGe. All-electric range is touted to be at 30 miles on a single charge. Total system output stands at 260hp.

For the sake of reference, the standard Pacifica starts at $29,600 and runs solely on a 3.6L Pentastar V6 that’s good for 287hp and 262lb-ft torque, managed by a new nine-speed auto transmission.

Do I understand this correctly the base gasoline engine model starts at 29000 which then would mean the hybrid is more expensive than that?

Seems that in the Twit-O-Sphere the story has changed, straight from the horses mouth :(
Not coming in fall, but early 2017 instead, but still can't wait ;) just a little longer and more painful of a wait.. :|
