I disagree with this. The term "hybrid" should only be used for cars without plugs. If they're plug-in hybrids, they should be called plug-in hybrids. There's a big difference between being able to use grid power for everyday local driving, versus just stretching out your gasoline miles.

The base price of the plug-in version will probably be much more expensive than that.
