Through pictures, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica doesn’t look like much, but in person the minivan is quite a beauty. That’s one thing special about the vehicle. The other thing is its hybrid variant, which is the first of its kind in the US.

Despite making it known from the get-go that the Pacifica would be hybridized, FCA has only offered the standard model so far. Those who had been looking forward to the Pacific Hybrid have since been left in the dark.

But some light has been shed on the variant. Alongside some spy shots of it moving about in the wild, it has been reported by InsideEVs that the Pacifica Hybrid would be rolling out to dealerships by November.

That’s brilliant news for anyone who’s planning to shop for a new ride during the Christmas season. Its price hasn’t yet been announced, but buyers of the plug-in hybrid would get to enjoy a $7,500 federal tax incentive.

From its 16kWh battery, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid would have 30 miles of all-electric range and 80MPGe fuel economy. Power would be derived from the same 3.L V6 engine in the standard model that’s good for 248hp and 230lb-ft torque.

I don't remember reading anyone in the chrysler pacifica forum to be interested about the hybrid. Are you?

That's a good news for everyone in Chrysler Pacifica forum who's been waiting for the car.
