Re: Cars.com does a Pacifica Hybrid Plug-in test drive

Here's a photo of the dash of the Pacifica PHEV showing the overall efficiency on the test drive: https://www.cstatic-images.com/stock/1170x1170/57/img-883915201-1490895534557.jpg In a 241-mile test drive from Ann Arbor, Mich., to the Cars.com mothership in Chicago (of which 30 miles were electric-o...

Cars.com does a Pacifica Hybrid Plug-in test drive

https://www.cstatic-images.com/stock/1170x1170/89/img-944867587-1490895531089.jpg “It’s an idea that we’re kind of surprised hasn’t happened sooner — a hybrid minivan.” Cars.com says that around town, they were able to get 33+ miles on battery power alone, and then after that an average of 45 MPG i...

Re: Pacifica Hybrid ships to dealerships April 17!

Considering it's only April, I don't see why FCA would ship them to CARB states, first. Hopefully they don't play games like GM is doing with the Bolt. What games in GM playing? The Bolt has a pre-specified rollout plan per State, and AFAIK GM is sticking to it so far? Do you mean you wish Chrysler...

Re: Level 2 upgrade adapter?

Hi SteveO,

How does changing the plug-in part allow the OEM EVSE to charge at 240 volts? Is the OEM EVSE rated at 240v input?

I don't have my Pacifica Hybrid yet so I can't say....

What charger are they giving you? Some Chinese knockoff, or an AeroVironment or something at least worth something?

Production started 4 months ago, and hardly any are selling?

Just read an article about the Pacifica Hybrid on InsideEVs.

Production originally started back in November 2016, and yet very few have been delivered yet... how come?!
I'm just waiting here Chrysler, hurry up

2017 Pacifica (non-hybrid) selling great. When is Hybrid available?

Looks like the Pacifica is selling well in the USA, seems to be taking all the Town & Country sales that the model would've had if FCA was still making it. Last year in August the Town & Country sold around 7200. This year, it sold 1800 as it is phasing the model out. In addition, FCA sold 7400 Chry...

Great review from Tom Moloughney (BMW i3 Guy)

<r>Tom saw the Pacifica Hybrid Plug-in at the LA Auto Show, got to sit in it, and check it out.<br/> <br/> His honest review is capped with details of why Chrysler continues to dominate the minivan segment - they're always ahead of everyone else and even after 20 years they are still innovating with...

RE:Ontario funding for manufacturing of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

I can't wait to get one of these! I'm not sure I can spend $50,000 dollars, but may have to wait a couple years for a used one.

Cost savings of Pacifica Hybrid: Gas vs Electricity

<t>I've been watching this closely and doing some calculations so I wanted to share this on the Pacifica Hybrid Forum.<br/> <br/> Gasoline in my part of Canada is 123.9 a liter (US $3.60 a gallon) and electricity is 9 cents per kW-h. 80 MPGe equates to 26.2 kWh per 100km. I would expect in gas hybri...
